Landing into Santiago is dramatic, flying over the Andes which surround the city to the east, you realise the shear size of Chile’s Capital! It’s a monster! Once on the ground the next thing that hits you is the smog, brown thick air, which really spoils Santiago’s surroundings, and hides most the city from view!
